Biography:

Caitlin is in their third season as Artistic Director of Theatreworks where Caitlin created the Free-For-All program in summer 2019, and has powered through the pandemic with innovative online and socially-distanced programming. Caitlin is passionate about community engaged arts, and work that confronts social questions about how we live now.
 
A New England native, Caitlin most recently pursued her MFA at Northwestern University and before that served as Associate Artistic Director at Stoneham Theatre (now Greater Boston Stage Company), north of Boston, where Caitlin was also the Director of Education. Caitlin has directed over fifty productions in New England, Chicago, and Colorado. Favorite work include The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls; Walking the Tightrope, and an intergenerational Romeo and Juliet. World premieres include Cooper and Kim’s Sunfish: the Musical at Stoneham, Ryan Landry's M and Psyched! for Huntington Theatre Company, A. Nora Long’s Clytemnestriad and MJ Kaufman’s Outlaw Jean for Fresh Ink. At Theatreworks, Caitlin has directed A Christmas Carol adapted by Murray Ross; Arcadia by Tom Stoppard, and Comedy of Errors for the 2019 Free-For-All program. Caitlin thanks partner, Ben, and their wonderful second grader, Cordelia, for their love and patience.
